404 error is a not found file error, definetely this is related to the incorrect url specified either in the url itself, or in the document root/path of file access. This would be shown in the error logs for apache.

If you can paste the întocmai logs here, it would be helpful to identify the issue. Even then if there is a change in the document root specified, please make sure that the apache config file do not have any virtualhost entry duplicate for this which points to an incorrect folder ?

You had a 500 because the ErrorLog and the CustomLog cannot be used within an .htaccess.
To answer to your question:
No, you cannot modify the log locations from your .htaccess.

Hi
I have set up a ftp server for my clients to upload files.
I have setup 2 users, client and administrator.
When a client logs he uploads his files to a folder called upload_files.
But he cannot view files in that folder.
If I log in as administrator I can see all the files and folders.
But I can only delete files uploaded to the upload_files folder.
If the client uploads a folder with files into it, then I cannot delete it since the folder owner is client.
Ex:
/upload_files/image.jpg Can Delete
/upload_files/new_folder/image.jpg Cant Delete
How can I fix this?
Thanks,
Chris

You could try putting administrator and client in the same group.

Are you sure that Domino doesnt support SSI? I know knothing about Domino but, being a web server, I would think that it would at least support SSI. Did you try naming your pages with .shtml or .shtm?

This is a weird question for this forum, but I couldnt find any forums that matched it any better. Im trying to find out how to use a SSI on a Domino server. I know Domino servers cant read ASP or SSI so is there some kind of equivalent I can use in my web pages to conține a asp file from a different server? I have a nice asp counter on my iis server, but I need to have the counter display on my webpages that are on my domino server. Any suggestions?

It might be good to know a little bit more about what you are testing, but usually the environment on XP far different from a real hosting environment, and therefore is not a good to use for testing.
